Description

Description:

Psyche has been located wholly intrapersonally (within the individual} or interpersonally (between persons, families, groups}, but never is it conceived also extra-personally as a component of the world, as a world soul or anima mundi in the classical sense.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To raise fundamental questions concerning the place of psychotherapy in today’s world
  2. To indicate other foci for psychological attention beyond the individual, the group, and the family (e.g., beyond the consulting room)
  3. To challenge the notions that psychotherapy raises consciousness, develops personality, enhances sensitivity, and improves relationships
  4. To present a contemporary Jungian attitude and rhetoric to the practice of psychotherapy
