Dr. Koronkiewicz has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon for over 25 years at Goshen Health. He has been a member of the Indiana Osteopathic Association (IOA) since 1994. He has served on the IOA Board of Trustees since 2002 and served as president from 2007 – 2008. In 2010, Dr. Koronkiewicz received the J.B. Kinsinger Plaque, the IOA’s highest honor for outstanding service to the osteopathic profession and his community.  Currently, he serves as a delegate to the AOA, a Board Examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  In his current position with Goshen Heath, Dr. Koronkiewicz serves as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, arthritic conditions, and general orthopedic problems.  He has been on staff at Goshen Hospital since arriving from the U.S. Air Force in 1993. He has served on many of the hospital committees and has been president of the medical staff, chairman of the medical staff quality committee, medical director of quality, and the physician advisor for utilization review. Recently, he completed a master’s degree in healthcare quality and safety management at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
