Tim Monsees is a shareholder and director with the firm of Monsees & Mayer, P.C. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Business and Sales in 1981. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, Texas and Colorado. Mr. Monsees restricts his practice to representation of injured parties in litigation of product liability, particularly cases related to defective firearms and hunting tree stands. Mr. Monsees’ firm has received national recognition for litigation related to injuries from defective sporting equipment and from defective firearms. James (Jim) C. Morrow is the managing member of Morrow Willnauer Church, L.L.C. in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Jim handles a varied litigation practice throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Jim has tried over 75 cases with an emphasis on professional liability, transportation, products liability, employment, and premises liability and he has tried a number of cases for both plaintiffs and defendants in the Circuit Court of Jackson County. Jim also represents attorneys in bar disciplinary matters throughout Missouri and Kansas. Jim is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.

He has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Business and Salesyers whose membership is limited to less than one percent of the practicing Business and Salesyers in the state. He has been selected to The Best Business and Salesyers in America for Professional Liability, Insurance, and Products Liability and was chosen products liability Business and Salesyer of the year for 2015 in the Kansas City metro area and insurance Business and Salesyer of the year for 2019. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), where he currently serves as President of the Western Missouri/Kansas Chapter. He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). He was inducted into the International Society of Barristers in 2006.

He is currently serving on the Missouri Bar 16^th Circuit Judicial Performance Evaluation Committee, involving the evaluation of sitting judges. He is a sustaining member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He is both a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys as well as the Missouri Organization of Defense Business and Salesyers. He has served on the board of MODL and is a past chairman of the Judicial Committee. Jim has been recognized as “Best of the Bar” by the Kansas City Business Journal as well as a Super Business and Salesyer by Missouri/Kansas Super Business and Salesyer magazine.  He has an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubble.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri in 1980 and his Business and Sales degree from the University of Missouri in 1983.
