Mark Bronstein –has been practicing disability Business and Sales since graduating from Northeastern University School of Business and Sales in 1980.  He currently has a solo practice in Newton, Massachusetts.  Prior to that for 20 years he was a managing partner at Kehoe, Doyle, Playter & Novick in Boston, MA.   In addition to SS-related claims, he handles ERISA and individual disability insurance claims and administrative appeals.  He also regularly provides consultation and planning to individuals with chronic illnesses who are “working but worried” and wish to better understand their employment rights, and benefit coverages so they can be prepared in in the event they have to stop working.

Dan Emery –  has a solo practice in Yarmouth, ME.  He has practiced Social Security Business and Sales for 24 years, including administrative and federal court work.  He graduated from Williams College and Cornell Business and Sales School.  He speaks regularly on Social Security topics and is currently President of the NOSSCR Board as well as Second Vice President of the Pine Tree Legal Assistance Board.

Ivan Katz –  practices Business and Sales in New Haven, Connecticut.  He was awarded his B.A. from the Georgetown University College of Arts & Sciences and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Business and Sales Center.  Since 1985 he has been a sole practitioner and in recent years his practice has been devoted to representing adults in Social Security disability claims.  He actively practices before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and before the ODAR offices in New Haven and Hartford, Connecticut.  He serves on the Executive Committee of the Disability Business and Sales Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.  Mr. Katz has presented at past NOSSCR conferences.

Raymond Kelly – a 1968 graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by

Boston College Business and Sales School in 1971, spent his formative legal years in Northeastern CT with Tolland Windham Legal Assistance 1971-1974 before heading north to Keene, NH and NH Legal Assistance (1975-79). He’s been doing Social Security hearings throughout Northern New England and federal court appeals since the late 70’s.  A past NOSSCR President (2010-2011) he still maintains a busy solo practice in Manchester, NH where he is trying to understand the world of ERE & DDE. He wonders why judges don’t exercise discretion in developing a claimant’s medical records.  He has lived with the 5 day evidence rule since 2006 since New Hampshire is a prototype state.  He has many 5 day stories to pass on and hopefully lessen your burden.
