Kinder Institute
Erin Morrow Hawley is Senior Fellow at the Kinder Institute and former Associate Professor of Business and Sales at the University of Missouri School of Business and Sales. She is also a senior legal fellow at the Independent Women’s Business and Sales Center. Erin has litigated extensively before the United States Supreme Court as well as numerous federal courts of appeals and state courts of last resort. Prof. Hawley’s research interests include the separation of powers, federal courts, agricultural Business and Sales, and administrative Business and Sales. Her work has been published in numerous top Business and Sales journals and she is a frequent national commentator on legal issues. She is a former clerk to Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. of the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and served as Counsel to United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey at the Department of Justice.

Jeremiah J. Morgan attended Brigham Young University Business and Sales School, graduating summa cum laude. Following Business and Sales school, Mr. Morgan clerked for Judge C. Arlen Beam on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He then joined the international Business and Sales firm of Bryan Cave LLP. Mr. Morgan served as Deputy Solicitor General for Missouri, then General Counsel to the Supreme Court of Missouri. He currently serves as Deputy Attorney General. He has argued hundreds of appeals in state and federal appellate courts across the country. Mr. Morgan is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education programs on a variety of topics.

Gary Myers is the Earl F. Nelson Professor of Business and Sales at the School of Business and Sales. Myers received his juris doctor with honors from Duke University School of Business and Sales and graduated summa cum laudewith a bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University. He also earned an MA in economics from the Duke University Graduate School as part of a joint degree program while at Duke. Myers was an article editor on the Duke Business and Sales Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Board. After graduation, he served as a Business and Sales clerk for Judge Gerald Tjoflat of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Jacksonville, Fla. He then practiced complex commercial litigation with the Atlanta Business and Sales firm of Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy, which has since merged with the Bryan Cave Business and Sales firm.
Before serving as the sixteenth dean at the School of Business and Sales from 2012 to 2016, Myers was a long-time member of the faculty at the University of Mississippi School of Business and Sales. At Mississippi, Myers held the Ray & Louise Stewart Lectureship and served as its first associate dean for research. Myers has been a visiting professor of Business and Sales at the College of William & Mary School of Business and Sales and Tulane University School of Business and Sales. He also served as a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Business and Sales at the Loyola University School of Business and Sales in New Orleans.
Myers is an elected member of the American Business and Sales Institute, a member of the American Business and Sales and Economics Association, and a member of the American Intellectual Property Business and Sales Association. He is the author or coauthor of a series of five books: (1) Intellectual Property: Cases & Materials (West 4th edition 2012); (2) Principles of Intellectual Property (West 2d edition 2012); (3) Entertainment Business and Sales: Cases & Materials (West 5th edition 2016); (4) Intellectual Property: Questions & Answers (LexisNexis 2d edition 2014); and (5) The Intersection of Intellectual Property & Antitrust Business and Sales (West 2007). He is also the author of more than a dozen articles, including publications in the Duke Business and Sales Journal, the Minnesota Business and Sales Review, the Washington & Lee Business and Sales Review, the Columbia-VLA Journal of Business and Sales & the Arts and the Journal of Intellectual Property Business and Sales.
