We are now using the word neuroplasticity to describe the way we can modify brain connections to change how the body works.This lecture offers a journey through the nervous system and neuroanatomy, exploring how the brain can change tone, movement and key sensory functions. Throughout the sessions, we’ll examine how the brain connects and adds new connections in relation to exercises that make progressive therapy fun, fast, and rewarding

1. Define neuroplasticity as it relates to the pediatric population
2. Describe diagnoses & related potential for rewiring around damage with challenges & treatments
3. Describe strategies for incorporating neuroplasticity in treatments of the pediatric population
4. Survey neuroplasticity techniques that can be easily utilized in the clinic, home or school setting the next day
