It’s hard to describe exactly how excited we at Wyckoff Analytics are about our upcoming specials dedicated exclusively to Tape Reading! Skilled tape readers can anticipate market direction in the short-term with uncanny accuracy, allowing for wickedly precise entries and exits. In this series, Roman Bogomazov will be hosting and teaching with some of the world’s most talented Wyckoff tape readers – David Weis, Gary Fullett and William Reardon.

The term “tape reading” originated in the distant past, when traders identified order flow in securities transactions from a continuous stream of price and volume quotes printed on a paper “ticker tape” in brokerages and banks. Knowledgeable tape readers could “see” buying and selling pressures created by large market operators and predict where prices were headed and when. With electronic bar charts, traders today have more sophisticated tools to visualize and exploit order flow, but the basic thrust is still the same.

Tape reading exemplifies Wyckoff’s principle of judging the market by its own action on any time frame, using mainly his laws of Supply and Demand as well as Effort vs Result.  In this course, students will also be exposed to novel tape reading concepts not taught anywhere else! We will be focusing on intraday and swing trading, but the same techniques can be applied to weekly, monthly or yearly charts.

We believe that tape reading is such an essential aspect of the Wyckoff Method that we have devoted the next three months to this topic. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn from some of the best – please join us!
